Building a Telegram AI assistant

This is one of the most popular n8n projects:

  1. Create a bot with @BotFather and copy the token into n8n credentials.
  2. Add a Telegram Trigger that fires on each incoming message.
  3. Pass the message to the AI Agent node with OpenAI.
  4. Reply with the Telegram → Send Message action.
